We found a book at Cosco called "Maui Revealed". It was written by a guy that lives in Maui and he gives recommendations on places to explore. So we decided to be adventurous. It was a one lane road all the way up the side of the Haleakala volcano. We went up so high, we were in the clouds and the mist. It was also much cooler. We found a great hike in the middle of this redwood forest. We did not see one other person. It was like being in another world!
